On his new upcoming album FUSE, Keith Urban has a few collaborations with his country star buddies, including Miranda Lambert and Eric Church. Eric recently spoke to iHeartRadio's Boxer where he opened up about working with both country stars.
He says, "I’d been wanting to do a song with Miranda Lambert for a long time and we found the perfect song on this record called, 'We Were Us.' And Eric Church is another really good friend of mine, we’ve been buddies for a couple of years and I wanted to find a song for us to do, too. And there’s a song on the album called, 'Raise Him Up,' that we got to do together. In addition to the songs, there’s also some, you know, really special moments for me as well."
Keith also talked about Miranda coming by the studio to record "We Were Us" - she brought Blake Shelton along!
Keith said, "Blake came out to the studio I was in at the time, and Blake just hung out, I don’t know what he was doing! Reading magazines, and hangin’ outside, and Miranda and I sang the song."
Keith's album FUSE is available for pre-order now, and will be released September 10th.
